RCC Members like Foundations, Columns, Plinth Beams, Roof Beams, Staircase, Roof Slab etc. will be designed. Design means Calculation. We calculate the Load that is coming over each member and Design each member with Sufficient Steel against Stress & Strain.

Soil testing is a crucial component of any construction project, including residential building construction. It is necessary to conduct soil testing to ensure that the foundation of the building is strong and stable enough to support the structure. Here are some reasons why soil testing is necessary for the construction of a residential building:

Identify Soil Characteristics: Soil testing helps identify the characteristics of the soil on which the building will be constructed. The tests determine the type of soil, its strength, density, and bearing capacity. This information is critical in determining the type of foundation that will be required for the building.

Determine Foundation Design: The information obtained from soil testing helps in determining the appropriate foundation design for the building. The foundation must be strong enough to support the weight of the building, and the soil testing data will provide the necessary information to design a foundation that can withstand the weight of the building.

Ensure Structural Safety: Soil testing helps ensure that the building will be structurally safe. If the soil is unstable or has a low bearing capacity, the building's foundation may settle or sink, causing structural damage to the building. Soil testing ensures that the foundation is designed appropriately to prevent such damage.

Compliance with Building Codes: Building codes require that soil testing be conducted to ensure that the foundation design complies with the building code requirements. Compliance with building codes is essential to ensure that the building is safe and habitable.

In summary, soil testing is necessary for the construction of a residential building. It helps identify the soil characteristics, determine the foundation design, ensure structural safety, and comply with building codes. Soil testing is an essential step in the construction process, and without it, the building's foundation may not be strong enough to support the weight of the structure, leading to structural damage and safety issues.

Whom to Approach: To get this SBC Value, you need to approach any Engineering college nearby your site and pay their fee for SBC Value Analysis. You need to dig a Pit of at least 4 feet x 4 feet and 6 feet deep before that engineering college staff arrives your site. They will collect undisturbed sample of soil and after the soil analysis is done they will Provide you the Soil test Report. Please note that at the end of the report, they should write a recommendation of Foundation Type we need to provide.
